Policy of Guilan Water and Wastewater Company on quality aspects:

On the strength of the law for establishment of water and wastewater companies and the articles of association, Guilan Water and Wastewater Company announces its policy in the domains of the company headquarters, Rasht City water and wastewater affairs as well as Rasht treatment plant on the basis of the patterns of quality management system and according to the international standard of ISO 9001: 2000 in safeguarding the supply of hygienic drinking water on the basis of the economic price and attraction of citizens’ satisfaction as follows:

1- movement toward total quality management system (TQM):
1-1- Development of participating management through the system of proposals and supporting of participating committee
1-2- Regular review of quality objectives and plans, execution, direction and monitoring procedures and their continual improvement
1-3- Evaluation and promotion of clients’ satisfaction and exploitation of the company’s personnel

2- Creation of proper grounds for sustainable and balanced development:
2-1- development of the province water and wastewater industry derived from the global objectives of the plans of the Islamic Republic of Iran government
2-2- development of human resources as the most valuable assets of the company
2-3- supporting the position of theorizing and policy adoption in Guilan Water and Wastewater Company aimed at reduction of units to smaller sizes and promotion of their quality and also movement toward transfer of activities to private sector with emphasis on the two factors, quality and speed
2-4- development of scientific and researching capacities of the province water and waste water section and supporting the transfer and use of modern technologies and management systems by benchmarking the pioneering organizations in the world
Attaining all the mentioned aims is possible only with continual attempt and interest of all managers and personnel. I, with full believe on the knowledge, belief and interest of all colleagues, guarantee the execution and continual improvement of this system through regular reviews (at minimum six-month period).
